London: what to see

The sights in London are endless but the hidden gems are even better.. if you don’t know about about iconic sights like Buckingham Palace by now then you’ve been living under a rock. We love art, live performances and basically any kind of unique experience so this is a little collection of our current favourite gems in London and places we think are worth a visit.

Catch dozens of cutting-edge exhibitions, fashion shows, events and pop-ups here all year round. Most pop ups here are super immersive, trigger the senses and challenge our perceptions. We especially love that they support emerging talent and provide a platform for creative growth.

180 Strand, Temple, London WC2R 1EA

Vintage Shopping

London has some of the best vintage stores around. Our favourite places to thrift from are:

A little sanctuary for creatives and lovers of independent publishing. They also run some really cool events in design and typography - we haven’t been to one yet but definitely want to try one out.

270 St John St, London EC1V 4PE

The House of Fine Art Gallery specialises in contemporary art by established and emerging international artists. Their exhibitions always present an eclectic mix of photographers, sculptures, painters and new media artists from around the world.

11 Bruton St, London W1J 6PY

If you love cinema like we do, watch a film in a unique 1920’s cinematic experience in the heart of Notting Hill, complete with plush chairs, popcorn and blankets. If you want the full experience, book beds on front row for super comfy vibes.

191 Portobello Rd, London W11 2ED

Think conservatory meets airport terminal with amazing views of the city. Beyond the long stretch of the bar are the breath taking panoramic views of London - we love seeing the city from above. A quieter alternative just around the corner is The Garden at 120 Fenchurch Street - providing cooler, quieter vibes if that’s more your thing.

1, Sky Garden Walk, London EC3M 8AF

Foodies Unite, Borough Market has got you covered by serving every cuisine imaginable. Our favourites that we alway go back to are:

  • Fish! Restaurant - The freshest seafood around

  • Ellliots - Seasonal produce and Natural Wines

  • La Tua Pasta - Over 30 types of fresh, handmade pasta

  • Tapas Brindisa - Spanish dishes and small plates

    London SE1 9AL

By far our favourite venue in London for performances. At Christmas time this place is truly magical, where you can even catch an orchestrated version of your favourite Christmas film - last Christmas we watched Home Alone and it was amazing.

Kensington Gore, South Kensington, London SW7 2AP

A cobbled complex in Kings Cross where you’ll find independent shops, hidden food spots and quirky bars, all bringing something a little different to the London scene. A cool place to hang out and grab a bite.

Stable St, London N1C 4DQ

Aesthetic book lovers unite. In Soho, visit the Assouline store filled with every Assouline edition imaginable. In here you’ll also find the The Swan Bar - a semi-secret aesthetic gem to stop for a sip and a read.

196A Piccadilly, St. James's, London W1J 9EY

The largest market in London and one of our favourites. Here you can find everything from music and fashion to experiences and food. This is also our favourite place to pick up vinyls, vintage pieces and hand made jewellery. In the summer months, sit in one of the bars along the canal and drink until the sun goes down.

54-56 Camden Lock Pl, London NW1 8AF

Primrose Hill

In the summer months, take some food (pizza from Pesantissimo is the best), some natural wine and a speaker and lie on the Primrose Hill all day until the sunsets.

London Borough of Camden, London, UK

On a Sunday, visit the iconic Columbia Road flower market in the East End for beautiful flowers and a buzzing atmosphere. If flowers aren’t your thing there’s also small art galleries, vintage clothes stores, Italian delis and antique shops to explore.

Columbia Rd, London E2 7RG

This old world bookshop in the heart of Marylebone specialises in travel books and is also the most beautiful book store we have ever seen, complete with oak balconies, stained glass windows and conservatory-esquel ceilings - we love it in here.

83-84 Marylebone High Street, London W1U 4QW

London’s West End has endless performances to choose from showing all year round. We’ve seen everything from Pretty Woman and Wicked  to Mrs Doubtfire (10/10) and The Book of Mormon and are yet to be disappointed.
