Bar la Camila
A beautifully designed cafe in Barcelona serving speciality coffee, vermouth and natural wines. We love the vintage old Catalan-esque style of the bar and although it doesn’t have many tables, it’s almost always busy. Honestly, try their bread with olive oil salt and chocolate which is so simple, yet divine. It’s definitely a place that is lively and inviting at any time of the day so be sure to check it out.

They roast Peruvian coffee. They serve it with chocolate. No more words needed. This open factory with shabby industrial interiors has a unique and relaxed atmosphere for you to try their cool coffee and sweet treats - oh, and they have canelé (to die for). An essential visit for those who love speciality coffee and silky chocolate.

We came for the speciality coffee but we stayed for the pastries. Honestly, the pastry selection here was so phenomenal it was hard to choose just one so we came back twice. Our favourites were the marble cake and the matcha cookies but everything was delicious including the coffee. If you need a sweet treat this is definitely the place to go.

A matcha lover’s paradise. An Asian-inspired cafe and aesthetic spot for you to stop by and try their specialty coffee and cool Japanese and Chinese tea drinks. The interiors are minimalist and charming and their matcha tallat is heaven.

This place gives us Berlin meets Copenhagen vibes, filled with minimalistic decor and a pretty neighbourhood crowd. Go for brunch and sample their natural wine selection and cinnamon rolls for a special time.

Serving all day brunch, this spot is perfect for breakfast lovers at any time of the day. Their Shakshuka and potato roasties were stand out, accompanied by a cheeky mid day wine from their natural wines selection - delicious. The space features exposed brick walls and an outdoor terrace with lights draped on trees in a bright space - styled with an impeccable taste. It seems the food, vines and aesthetic here attract local coffee lovers and tourists from around the world and we can see why.

A gorgeous, aesthetic cafe that serves speciality coffee alongside exotic drinks served in cool tumbler glasses - their osmanthus latte and home-made cheesecakes were the star of the show.

Taulat 44
Taulat is a must-visit in cool Poblenou. We were attracted by the minimalist, bright decor and stunning aesthetics but we stayed for the pecan cookies and key lime pie - the perfect place for a sweet treat. The fortune cookie with our matcha lattes made us smile, a nice touch.

A gem on Passeig del Born and next to the beach if you'd like to have a breakfast with a view. Everything is made from scratch and the result is very impressive. Create your own box with both sweet and/or savoury items and take it with you to the park, the beach or even home with you for a cosy breakfast in bed. Try their sister shop Funky Eatery to find aesthetic cheeseboards and cool matcha eclairs, natural wines and cocktails in the evenings.
A cool Japanese inspired coffee chain dotted around Barcelona (and all over the world), that is perfect for a coffee break or a little breakfast bite. It has a very urban and modern vibe complete with minimalist aesthetics and also..you order from an iPad.. we love that. Try one of their gelato frappes to be wowed or in the summer months, their sodas are also delicious. The drinks menu here is super extensive so you’ll be spoilt for choice.

Influencer heaven. The most instagrammed and not exactly a new one to the scene but it’s pretty and if you’re new to Barcelona, you will still find this pace cute and enjoyable. Head to the Ramblas location for the big mirror in the loos for THAT instagram mirror selfie.
